How to join audio files
- Open two or more audio files, or drop them on the page.
- Put them in order with the arrows, and choose a pause if you want one.
- Choose a format and select Save.
Different formats can be mixed
The files do not need to match. An MP3, a WAV and a voice memo can go in the same list, because each is decoded first and the joined audio is then saved in the one format you choose.
Done in your browser
The files are read on your device and never sent anywhere, which makes this a good fit for private recordings, interviews and family audio.
Questions about Join audio
Are my files uploaded?
No. They are decoded and joined in your browser and stay on your device.
How many files can I join?
As many as your device has memory for. The whole result is held in the tab until you save it.
Can I add a gap between tracks?
Yes. Choose a pause of half a second, one second or two seconds, or none for tracks that run straight on.
Is the quality kept?
Saving as FLAC or WAV keeps everything the browser decoded. MP3, M4A and OGG are encoded again, so choose a high quality if the originals were good.
